believes that the Bible (KJV) alone and in its entirety is the total revealed will
of God. We believe it constitutes the whole of special revelation which is
necessary for salvation (being distinguished from the things which may be known of God
from creation, which constitutes general revelation, sufficient to leave humanity without
excuse but not to save). We believe in the verbal inspiration of the Holy Scripture
(66 books, Genesis to Revelation, apocryphal books being excluded, II Timothy 3:16).
We believe in the virgin birth and that God has revealed Himself to us in the person
and work of Jesus Christ. We believe a person must be born again by the Spirit of
God in order to go to heaven. We believe this action (i.e., being born again) is an
act of the sovereign God who is in total charge (John 3:8; Isaiah 45:22). We believe
that no man can come to Christ for salvation except he be drawn by the Holy Spirit (John
6:44). We believe that when a man is born naturally (being distinguished from the
virgin birth), he is totally depraved (see p.7) and until God acts upon him he will in no
wise come to God (on God's terms) for salvation.
We believe all those who are truly "born again" are commanded to spread the
gospel (I Corinthians 15:1-28). to the ends of the earth by all means possible (Matthew
28:18-19). We believe that all those who are truly "born again" must
assemble together regularly and an be supportive of a Biblical
fellowship (Hebrews
10:25).
