SOMETHING YOU SHOULD PRAYERFULLY READ AND REMEMBER
AS YOU LISTEN TO YOUR RADIO

pp. 8-9, from the Guide

The primary thought behind developing and continuing to print this radio station locator guide is to: encourage people to listen to the 'True Word of God' as it is proclaimed over the radio air waves. It is hoped that in doing so the listening audience will personally open God's Word and read it and obey all teachings found there.

It is unfortunate that all religious programs don't reflect the "True Gospel". We highly encourage every listener to prayerfully check what others say against God's written word and hold on to that which is true and cast aside that which is false. (Acts 17:11 & I Thess. 5:21)

We have attempted to give some key scripture excerpts in the following article that we believe God has given to help us identify those teachers who are trying to deceive us by mixing truth and error together. It is our prayer that God speaks through the listed scriptures to the hearts of those whom He would choose as His own. May the peace of God that passes all understanding be with you all as you travel our nation's highways.

TRUTH VERSUS ERR0R

Read your Bible daily. Read the referenced verses and let God's Word be "The Judge.' Our deepest concern is that the "True Gospel of Jesus Christ" be heard by everyone possible. We have discovered in our travels around the country a never ending effort of many false prophets who promote a false gospel. (see Galatians 1:6-12) Many of these teachers start with the Bible but end up with some other authority or now revelation outside the scriptures. We believe every obedient born-again Christian should read Revelation 22:12-21 over and over until they understand what God is saying through Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior. We believe this final chapter of the Bible draws a clear line between what is true and what is false.

In Matthew 7:22-23 Christ speaks "In that day many will say to me 'Lord, Lord, we have done many things in Your Name, and He will say to them, 'depart from me you workers of iniquity, I never know you."' He is speaking directly to the false gospel speakers of today. We believe that any ministry today that does not hold to the truth (that God's Word is the one and final authority to govern our lives and direct our steps) is false.

False gospels appear on the surface to be true (see Matthew 7:15 ... wolves in sheep's clothing) (II Corinthians 11:13-14 ... angel of light) they deny that Christ died on the cross for our sins. They often say "By His stripes we are healed' (Isaiah 53:5) however they are referring to a physical healing. We have no doubt that God is involved in all healing today, but His blood atonement on the cross of Calvary was for our spiritual deliverance from the bondage of sin.

False gospels almost always stress great signs and wonders as a manifestation of 'The Holy Spirit" moving in a person's life.

One Purpose of the fellowship is to make the world uncomfortable.

p. 9

They often quote that Jesus performed many miracles while He was here on earth. However they fail to realize that issue did these things to fulfill all prophecies and demonstrate His power over the physical universe, and to teach us many spiritual truths.(see John 20:30-31)

This same Jesus stated in Matthew 24:11 "Many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many'. In Matthew 24:24 Jesus goes on to say these prophets would show great signs and wonders and if possible would even deceive the very elect - true believers.

False gospels stress that if you serve God you will be prosperous and gain many of this world's goods, yet the Bible clearly teaches you can't serve God and mammon. (see Matthew 6,24, Luke 16:13.)

Some false gospels have a person in their history, whom they believe had a direct encounter with God and is now or was able to say and record doctrine that holds equal authority with the Bible. (see 11 Peter 2:1-3 and I Timothy 2:5)

False gospels almost always stress changing the outward actions of men by every means possible rather than preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and giving way to the Holy Spirit Who changes the heart which results in outward changes. (see Philippians 2:13)

False gospels have little if any assurance of salvation. some of them believe a a person needs last rites at death and often can be prayed for after death even though God's Word clearly teaches in Hebrews 9:27. 'It is appointed unto men once to die then the judgment.'

Another characteristic of the false gospel is their use of agreement between two or more people to 'move the hand of God'. They use Matthew 18:19 out of it's context to build their case; they fail to realize the passage Matthew 18:15-20 deals with a person in the church which has trespassed against God.

Equally false even though it may be difficult to detect is those teachers who won't preach the Sovereignty of God. They generally preach a god who has done all he can and now it's up to you to decide or make a decision. They don't recognize the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who cannot fall. They don't believe In the True God who calls, chooses and elects all members into the body of Christ.

All that is being wrongly taught could be very discouraging, if we did not know that it is fulfilling prophecy. (see 11 Timothy 4:3-4) The apostasy of the church is probably one of the last signs before the return of Christ. We just praise God and thank Him for His Written Word that helps us recognize and deal with the situation as we become aware of it day by day. Jesus says in Matthew 7:13-14 that 'Narrow is the gate that leads to life and only a few will find It.'

It is our continual prayer and hope if you have been deceived by a false gospel or teacher in the past, you will now read God's Word and let it fulfill II Timothy 3:16-17 (so that you as a person of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works).

If you have had it with yourself, then you are ready to place faith and trust in God.
