| Faith comes by hearing God's Word, Romans 10:17
(paraphrase). God's Word, when it goes forth (in any form, billboards, etceteras...),
never returns void, without accomplishing what He desires, Isaiah 55:11 (paraphrase).
We are called to spread and cultivate God's Word, as God gives the increase, or causes
it to grow. We are all God's laborers, I Corinthians 3:6-9 (paraphrase).
"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his
face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he
looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and
continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed
in what he does," (James 1:22-25, NIV).
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him," (Colossians 3:17, NIV). |
